Ulubele asking for help
In the beginning of June a scared and emaciated 9-10 months old female dog was brought to the Riga City Animal Shelter. She was hit by a car at Čiekurkalns 2. šķērslīnija’s intersection so she was limping heavily. Doctors diagnosed a serious hipbone injury. The dog had to recover and improve its health to have a surgery. This nice and lovable dog, named Buča (‘Kiss’) by the staff of the shelter, has fully recovered by now and is ready for the surgery.
Since resources of the shelter are limited because significant funds are spent on keeping animals there for more than the 14 days stipulated by the law, we ask your help to heal Buča’s leg. The surgery costs roughly Euro 250. Together we can help Buča regain its playful joy of living.
